Danguole is an experienced CEO with a history of success in life sciences and health care services. She has founded two successful firms, raised over $40 Million in capital and recruited top-notch management teams. Within health care services, she is particularly experienced in physician consolidation and management, creating value-based health care organizations and aligning incentives. Within life sciences, she has had extensive experience in pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostic development and can help companies clarify their strategies and value propositions. She has substantial experience conceptualizing and writing business plans, raising money, licensing technology, building management teams and Advisory Boards as well as in driving cost-effective clinical development.

As founder and CEO of Vapogenix, Danguole built a pain management company that is developing a novel class of non-opioid analgesics, leading the company from pre-clinical through the start of its Phase 2 trial. She raised over $18 Million in Series A-C rounds from family offices, high net worth individuals and the State of Texas. Danguole drove Vapogenix’s development and intellectual property strategy, was the lead inventor in three patents and established partnerships with formulation, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical operations experts.

Earlier in her career Danguole co-founded FemPartners, a leading provider of women’s health care services. FemPartners provided physician practice management services to OB/Gyn practices and developed and operated free-standing fertility, diagnostic and outpatient surgery centers. She raised $18 Million in private equity investment for the company and tripled revenue under management from $20M to $80M in 3 years.

Danguole’s accomplishments include serving as CEO of the largest vertically integrated OB/GYN practice in America and designing and implementing physician affiliation and managed care strategy for more than 25 hospitals in HCA’s Western division. A graduate of Harvard (AB) and Yale (MBA), she is a former McKinsey and Company consultant. Danguole also has extensive corporate board experience.
