About Don

Joining Newport LLC’s Southern California practice, Don Koller brings to Newport a solid background as a serial CEO adept in the consumer products space, principally the food industry.  He has a history of providing leadership with successful results in middle-market turnarounds as well as start-up and restart environments.

Highly skilled in collaborating and mediating with senior management and private equity investors in M&A transactions and post-merger integration, Don Koller has an established record of maximizing shareholder value for consumer product, consumable export, distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, retail and food services companies.

Don’s experience is built on operating multiunit retail environments, International wholesale and multi-million-dollar consumer product companies.  He has restructured and led a consumable products company, helping it emerge as a restart and allowing existing shareholders to reinvest.  He also guided a national merchandising services company to expand revenue by 340% through organic growth, tripling earnings within five years.
