About Sam

Sam has spent his entire business career in consumer product businesses with deep experience in both the retail and wholesale channels which include brick & mortar and online business formats. He focuses on both startups and mid-sized consumer product firms as their strategic advisor, interim executive and board member, often working on go-to-market strategies, sales and marketing guidance, and guidance on their business structure. One of the largest issues facing companies today is how to balance brick & mortar and online initiatives properly within a strategic plan for their omni-channel strategy.

Sam brings 30 years of CEO and COO business experience. Sam started his career at Federated Department Stores (Macy’s), spending 20 years rising up through the ranks, working in every aspect of the business. He then served as President and COO for six years with Jordan Marsh.  He has been the CEO of numerous mid-market Consumer Products companies. He recently spent 6 years in a Boston based start-up as President and COO of KaBloom.
